Introductions!


          Hello everyone! A little bit of an introduction, my name is Monroe and this is my first time writing a blog so pardon me if I don't do this right the first few times. I am very much into pop culture, nerd culture (comics, manga, anime, etc.), and the 80's. Oh! and I cosplay, a few of the things I cosplay are usually from a bunch of anime, t.v. shows, games, and comics I like; so I have cosplayed Spider-man, Goku, Kirito from Sword Art Online, and more! I hope to become a more well known cosplayer and I want to inspire those who follow me as well as entertain them.
          One of my biggest dreams in life is to be an actor, I on the side of doing schoolwork do a bit of voice acting. I am a part of a wonderful group and we all have a lot of fun dubbing our voices over scripts we write or other's write for people to perform. I also am very much into "Super Sentai" because of my friend Edgar and I briefly watched it as a kid. Super Sentai, is the Japanese version of Power Rangers and actually came before it, I love the stories and personalities of the characters that the Japanese version conveys in their show. My three favorite Super Sentai teams are "Tokumei Sentai (Special Operations Squadron): Go-Busters", "Kaitou Sentai (Phantom thief Squadron): Lupinranger", and "Kaizoku Sentai (Pirate Squadron Heroic Ranger): Gokaiger."
         I hope that with this blog I may entertain you with random facts, cosplay advice, and recommendations for all things nerdy! This is Super dork: Knight Noir! Till next time!

Michael Myers Strikes Again!!

The new Halloween movie has come out and I went to go see it when it released. I must say that I am very very impressed by it. The way it gives you a feeling of nostalgia with the opening credits being similar to the original 1978 movie is just so satisfying. The story overall was absolutely fantastic as it kept you on your feet the entire movie. Truly a worthy movie to the rest of the franchise. There have been a ton of John Carpenter's Halloween movie's and some were not so great. This one was more successful and might even be canon to the true Halloween universe. GO SEE IT, the kills are brutal, the humor is hilarious, I give this movie a 9/10!

WE ARE VENOM?

So I have been feeling a little iffy on the Venom movie that is coming out. It is like, I don't know what to expect, like, it may be bad or it may be good. But, I feel that it is just plain weird due to the lack of a Spider-man. Now, Venom himself looks really really good, the design for him I mean, the CGI looks kinda bad though, the poster looks badly photoshopped and it is making me question it. I am going to be seeing it regardless because of my love for the character.   I honestly feel that they will do a decent job, can't wait to see how it goes. I was hoping for an "R" rating for the movie as it fits the character, but, we got PG-13 BOIS. DEAR GOD. GOOD LUCK. ANYWAY, I will make an update of the Venom stuff after the movie comes out so.... BYEEE. (Till the next time)
